Security Council LIVE: Vote to delay ‘snapback’ of UN sanctions on Iran

The UN Security Council is due to vote at the top of the hour on a draft resolution which would extend the Iran nuclear deal – formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action – for six months, to avoid the so-called “snapback” mechanism coming into force which would see sanctions reimposed on Tehran on Sunday.
