Asian stock markets ended with losses

Asian stock markets today ended with losses. South Korea’s Kospi tumbled 1.8 percent, Japan’s Nikkei-225 plunged one and a half percent and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index declined 1.4 percent. China’s Shanghai Composite index slipped 0.8 percent and Singapore’s Straits Times index fell 0.6 percent.
European Markets were up in intra-day trade except London’s FTSE-100 which lost 0.3 per cent. France’s CAC-40 and Germany’s DAX, both were trading up marginally by 0.1 percent each when reports last came in.
