“Devara Part 1”, starring Junior NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, has taken the box office by storm since its release a few days ago. The high-octane action saga has received an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences, translating into impressive box office numbers. It was already reported that the filmâs opening day collections surpassed Thalapathy Vijay’s “GOAT”.
Today, the producers announced that “Devara” has crossed â¹304 crore globally in just three days, making it the second-highest opening weekend for a South Indian film in 2024, trailing only Prabhas’ “Kalki 2898 AD” and overtaking Vijay’s “The Greatest Of All Time”. Fans continue to flock to theatres, fueling the filmâs success.
With a public holiday on Wednesday, “Devara” is poised to shatter even more box office records. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Narain, and Kalaiyarasan. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music, with cinematography by Rathnavelu and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.
