Actor-filmmaker Sasikumar is set to make a powerful return with his upcoming political drama, ‘Nandhan’, directed by Era Saravanan of ‘Udanpirappe’ fame. The trailer and songs from the film were unveiled yesterday. ‘Nandhan’ follows the story of an oppressed man who challenges a privileged politician in a fight for justice.
Suruthi Periasamy, known from ‘Bigg Boss 5 Tamil’, plays the female lead, with a strong supporting cast including Balaji Sakthivel, Samuthirakani, Mathesh, Mithun, Katta Erumbu Stalin, V Gnanavelu, GM Kumar, Sithan Mohan, and Sakthi Saravanan. Produced by Era Entertainment, this film generates buzz for its gripping narrative.
‘Nandhan’ is slated for a theatrical release on September 20. The technical team features Ghibran Vaibodha as the music composer, RV Saran as the cinematographer, Nelson Anthony as the editor, John Mark handling stunts, and C Udhayakumar overseeing art direction.
