Siddharth Anand shares BTS pictures from sets of Fighter

With Fighter slated to release by the end of January, the film’s director Siddharth Anand posted some behind-the-scenes stills from the shoot. Fighter is an aerial actioner which stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. It also features Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.

One of the stills shows Siddarth sitting on the director’s chair while the others include a picture of fighter jets, actors posing as Airforce personnel standing in line and also them engaging in target practice.

Previously, two songs from the film ‘Ishq Jaisa Kuch’ and ‘Sher Khul Gaye’, were released by the makers.

The character posters of Fighter introduced us to Hrithik’s Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka ‘Patty’, Deepika’s Squadron Leader Minal Rathore aka ‘Minni’, Anil Kapoor’s Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka ‘Rocky,’ Karan Singh Grover’s Squadron leader Sartaj 'Taj' Gill and Akshay Oberoi’s Squadron leader Basheer Khan aka 'Bash'.

The teaser of the film was released earlier this month. It starts with the lines, "To find us? You must be good. To catch us? You must be fast. To beat us? You must be Joking!" And as these lines end on the screen, the engine of the fighter plane revs up to show us a stylish Patty (Hrithik Roshan), and a charming Minnu (Deepika Padukone), piloting their fighter jets with suave. With elements of drama, romance and patriotism, and a novel version of Vande Mataram, the Fighter teaser promises us that "Republic Day will never be the same again."

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter is backed by Ajit Andhare (Viacom18 Studios), Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb, and Anku Pande. It will hit the theatres on January 25, 2024.
