The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved lazertinib (Lazcluze) in combination with amivantamab-vmjw (Rybrevant) for upfront treatment of adults with locally advanced or metastatic non–small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have EGFR exon 19 deletions or exon 21 L858R substitution mutations as detected by an FDA-approved test. This marks the first approval for lazertinib. Amivantamab was initially approved by the FDA in 2021 and carries a few indications for locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC.
