Following a successful theatrical run, the blockbuster horror-comedy ‘Munjya’, starring Abhay Verma and Sharvari Wagh, is set for its TV premiere on Star Gold on Saturday, 24th August, at 8 PM.
The film, which has already become one of the biggest hits of 2024, grossing over Rs 130 crores worldwide, continues to captivate audiences with its blend of horror, comedy, and folklore.
In the lead-up to the TV premiere, Abhay Verma, who plays the lead role of Bittu, took his promotion efforts to the next level by embarking on a ‘Hunt for Munjya’ through Mumbai.
The actor delved into the city’s paranormal legends, exploring haunted spots that inspired the mysterious tone of ‘Munjya’. His journey took him through the streets of Mumbai, known for its old-world charm and tales of the supernatural.

Set against a backdrop of spooky peepal trees and forbidden love, the film tells the story of Bittu, who gets caught in a mysterious tale that merges the past with the present. Sharvari Wagh stars as Bela, adding charm and wit to the screen, as the pair navigate this thrilling ride of chills and laughter.
