Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Civil Aviation V.K. Singh has said that the Union Government has been implementing several welfare schemes for the Ex-Servicemen in the country. Addressing the ex-servicemen wing of the State BJP in Madurai after listening to Mann Ki Baat today, he said that the Government was keen to involve the youth as Agni Veers. The Minister said that the Agnipath scheme was ambitious to provide those who joined the defence forces with the utmost efficiency to tackle the challenges through physical and mental training.
