The India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate, fairly widespread to widespread rainfall over the Eastern part of the country till the 22nd of this month. The department has predicted isolated heavy rainfall over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, and Jharkhand for the next three days.
The weather agency also forecast isolated heavy rainfall over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim between the 20th to 22nd September and in Bihar from 21st to 23rd September.
