Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) today held a workshop on Flash Flood Guidance Services for disaster managers and media in Delhi. The workshop was held in collaboration with World Meteorological Organisation. IMD has been recognized as a regional centre for providing Flash Flood Guidance Services in South Asia Region. IMD has been providing Flash Flood Guidance Service for the past three years.
