Improve your smartphone photography with these 5 effective iPhone camera settings; know here

World Photography Day was celebrated on August 19 to honor and recognise the contributions of photographers.

In recent years, technology in photography has evolved significantly. We have moved from early 19th-century pinhole cameras and daguerreotypes to mid-20th-century film cameras like the Leica and Nikon F.

Then came the digital age with innovations such as DSLRs and mirrorless cameras.

Today, modern smartphones feature advanced camera technology, making high-quality photography more accessible than ever. iPhones, in particular, are a bit ahead in this regard.

While recent iPhones already have excellent point-and-shoot cameras, tweaking a few settings can further enhance your
photography experience. Here are five settings to adjust for better photos:

Enable Grid and Level

If you have trouble framing your subject, turn on the grid and level option in the settings. This helps you perfectly frame and capture your shots.

Disable Auto Flash

To capture more natural-looking photos, turn off the auto flash option. This prevents the flash from firing automatically, which can sometimes cause harsh lighting.

Use Mirror Front Camera

For better selfies that look more like what you see in the mirror, enable the mirror front camera option. Note that text on your clothing will appear reversed.

Prioritise Faster Shooting

Enable the option to prioritise faster shooting. This helps your iPhone capture images more quickly and sharply, especially useful for fast-moving subjects.

Lens Correction for Ultra-Wide Shots

If you enjoy taking landscape photos with the ultra-wide-angle lens, turn on the lens correction feature. This reduces distortion, especially at the edges of your photos, which is a common issue with ultra-wide lenses.

Adjusting these settings can help you get the most out of your iPhone’s camera and improve your photography skills.
