Indian women have graduated from role of participation to role of leadership, says Union Minister Jitendra Singh

The government has launched a series of measures for the welfare of women and focused on women-led development in the last ten years. Briefing media in New Delhi today, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh said, that Indian women have graduated from the role of participation to the role of leadership. He added that Aditya Mission is also led by a woman which is an example of women empowerment.

The Minister also said, that women are allowed to get commissioned in the Army due to  Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s personal efforts. Dr Singh highlighted that in the last ten years, many women-centric decisions and administrative reforms were made that benefit every class of women. He observed that Mr. Modi had said that there are only four castes in the country – women, youth, farmers, and poor as India’s progress is linked with their progress.
