Kerala High Court suspends two of employees for staging PM and union government

The Kerala High Court has suspended two of its employees for staging a skit mocking the Prime Minister and the union government during the Republic Day celebrations yesterday.

Chief Justice Ashish Jitendra Desai ordered the suspension of the duo — an Assistant Registrar and a Court Keeper — for the derogatory content and criticism against the government in the stage show, performed at the High Court Auditorium.

The Chief Justice also directed the Registrar – Vigilance to conduct a detailed inquiry and sought an explanation from the Registrar -Administration regarding the circumstances in which the incident took place.
