Kushal Tandon
has joined the growing list of celebrities investing in
Alibaug
, a popular
second-home
destination near Mumbai. The Barsatein actor recently acquired a plot in the coastal town, known for its serene beaches and proximity to the bustling city. We hear he plans to build a bungalow on the newly purchased plot. This property will serve as a second home, offering him a quick getaway from the hectic pace of his professional life in Mumbai.
Kushal’s move comes shortly after megastar
Amitabh Bachchan
and
Kriti Sanon
made headlines for acquiring a plot in the same premium project.
While the project has attracted several high-profile buyers, Kushal’s investment is particularly notable for his plans to construct a spacious bungalow, reflecting a desire for a more personalised and peaceful living space.
Rohit Shetty Gets Candid On Khatron Ke Khiladi: The Show Is Now My Comfort Zone; I Keep Upgrading Myself Every Season
On the work front, Kushal, who has been part of TV shows such as Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Nach Baliye 5, Bigg Boss 7, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5, and Beyhadh, returned to television after a break of six years with Barsatein – Mausam Pyar Ka, which concluded in February this year. In an exclusive chat with us, days before the launch of his comeback show, while talking about the long break from television, Kushal told us, “Apart from being occupied with shooting for two web series, I was busy setting up my restaurant, which I had to shut down as it ran into losses during the pandemic. Itna loss ho gaya toh socha TV par wapas aa kar thode paise kama loon (laughs!) I also suffered a back injury last year, following which I was on six-month bed rest. I trained in martial art, and jujutsu in Thailand to get back into shape before the show went on floors. I am excited to return with a male-driven show on a medium predominantly for women.”
