Prabhas’ Spirit: Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘urge’ to Sandeep Reddy Vanga for special appearance will be fulfilled?
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri and Anil Kapoor in major roles, scripted box office history. Now, Vanga is prepping up for Spirit, starring Tollywood’s Rebel Star Prabhas. The excitement among fans is going through the roof and all are anticipating updates on the movie. However, a recent report will make you thrilled. As per the latest reports, Ranbir Kapoor might have a special appearance in Spirit.
Earlier, during the promotions of Animal, the Rockstar actor appeared on Balakrishna’s popular show. On the show, he openly talked about his desire to work with Prabhas and expressed his strong interest in joining the project, highlighting his close friendship with Prabhas, whom he referred to as his best friend.
When actor Nandamuri Bala Krishna, the host of the show, asked RK if he was friends with someone from the Telugu industry, Vanga immediately mentioned Prabhas.
However, the Brahmastra actor corrected him naming Rashmika Mandanna and Sandeep Reddy Vanga instead. Further, he humorously added that while he would like to be friends with Prabhas, the feeling was not mutual. However, the Ramayana actor admitted that he is a fan of the Baahubali star.

Notably, Vanga’s Spirit will reportedly begin filming between December 2024 to January 2025. If the reports are anything to go by, the Kabir Singh helmer aims to elevate entertainment with this project. Spirit will feature Prabhas in a never-seen avatar. Meanwhile, after reports surfaced that Korean-American actor Ma Dong-Seok would be seen as the antagonist and lock horns with Prabhas, certain other reports claimed that the Rebel Star would be seen in a double role. Meanwhile, speculations were rife that Trisha Krishnan would play the lady villain in the movie. Even Katrina and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s names also popped up. But, the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding the cast. However, the reports of Ranbir’s special appearance in Spirit have filled excitement among fans.
Recently, the latest buzz in the industry suggests that Prabhas might have a special role in Ranbir’s Ramayana. As per the buzz, the makers are in talks with Darling to essay the iconic role of Lord Parashuram. But, there is no official statement backing the claims. Fans need to wait with patience until the makers reveal the truth.
