President Droupadi Murmu Emphasizes Holistic Development for Vulnerable Tribal Groups under PM Janman Yojana in Andaman and Nicobar Islands

The President Droupadi Murmu has said that under PM Janman yojana  the government is working for the holistic development of the  vulnerable tribal group or PVTG  of the region. She was speaking in a civic reception function held at Port Blair She  said this island plays a strategic role in connecting india to south and south east Asian countries and the Island is a major part of India’s as act east policy.  President Droupadi Murmu said in 2047 india will celebrate its 100 years of Independence till that time we will be a developed country. President Droupadi Murmu said Andaman and Nicobar island witnesses a series of development in the last 10 yrs with the development of tourism  which enhanced the scope of employment ,  She said this is the place of workship and youngster should learn the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters,Soon after reaching Portblair  the President  visited national memorial cellular jail and lays wreats at the Shahid Stambh.  she also visited the cell of Veersavarkar and spent some time in that cell.
