President to Inaugurate National Tribal Festival in New Delhi

President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the Aadi Mahotsav 2024, an annual National Tribal Festival at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi tomorrow. Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda will also be present on the occasion. The event, organized by TRIFED under the aegis of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, will showcase the rich diversity of India’s tribal heritage till the 18th of this month.

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs said that the festival will feature over 300 stalls, offering a varied display of Tribal art, handicrafts, natural produce, and delectable tribal cuisine. Apart from this, one thousand artisans from across the country will also participate and showcase their performances. A separate Food Court showcasing Tribal cuisines from different parts of the country has also been set up. Our correspondent reports that entry to the festival is free of cost and visitors can visit the festival from 11 am to 8 pm till 18th February.
