Jyothi Surekha Vennam enters semifinals of Archery World Cup Stage 4 in Paris

Indian compound archer Jyothi Surekha Vennam entered into the semifinals of the World Cup Stage 4 in Paris yesterday defeating Dafne Quintero of Mexico. Jyothi beat Dafne 147-144 to set up a semifinal clash against Ella Gibson of Britain.

This Year, Jyothi became the first Indian archer along with teammates Aditi Gopichand Swami and Parneet Kaur to win a gold medal at the World Archery Championships defeating Mexican team in the Compound Women’s Team final.

 

On the other hand, Ella eliminated the recently defeated world champion Aditi Swami 135-148 in the quarterfinals of the World Cup Stage 4 to reach the semifinals.
