Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Indian athletes for their incredible performance at the 31st World University Games. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, the sporting performance will make every Indian proud. He said, Indian athletes have returned with a record-breaking haul of 26 medals. The Prime Minister said, it is India’s best performance ever with 11 Golds, Five Silvers and 10 Bronzes. He said, a salute to our incredible athletes who have brought glory to the nation and inspired upcoming sportspersons.
