Cambodia opens new airport in Phnom Penh to boost tourism

Cambodia has inaugurated its new Techo International Airport near Phnom Penh. The first flight arrived from China. The airport aims to boost tourism. It replaces the old Phnom Penh International Airport. The new airport can handle 13 million passengers initially. Capacity will increase to 50 million by 2050. This opening follows the Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport launch.
