A Copperbelt bus travelling from Cape Town to Zimbabwe lost control on the road and skidded in the snow before it overturned in an accident recently.The accident happened between Colesburg and Bloemfontein early yesterday morning. It is still unclear how the Copperbelt bus accident occurred. However, there were no casualties from the crash.The area has been experiencing snowfall in the past few days, making the N1 slippery. The bus trailer had also dislodged. The area where the crash occurred had a lot of snow, and the overcast sky was pregnant with more of it. South African emergency service providers rushed to assist the accident victims and retrieve them from the bus.The distance from Cape Town to Harare is about 2,519.0 km through the N1, and a bus will take days on the road. In March this year, a Simplex bus travelling from Harare to Cape Town collided with a haulage truck on the N1 Highway near the Hex River Pass in the Western Cape.
