Kathmandu airport to remain closed until further notice amid widespread unrest in Nepal

Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport is shut down. This is due to widespread violent protests in Nepal. Hundreds of foreign nationals are stranded. Flight services were already partially suspended. The Nepal Army has imposed curfews. Air India, IndiGo, and Nepal Airlines have cancelled flights. Hotel Association Nepal is coordinating with authorities. They are helping stranded tourists.
