Russia resumes domestic flights to southern city of Krasnodar for first time in three years

Russia’s Krasnodar airport reopened for domestic flights after three years. The airport was closed due to security concerns. An Aeroflot flight from Moscow landed in Krasnodar. Flights now avoid airspace near Ukraine. Other airports remain closed. The decision to reopen followed a risk evaluation. Aeroflot will operate multiple daily flights. Passengers expressed relief at the easier travel.
