A high risk of fires is forecast in at least two provinces, but it will be fine and warm for most of the country, according to the South African Weather Service.
Fire danger warnings
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape and in places over the interior of the Eastern Cape.

Mpumalanga can expect morning fog patches on the Highveld, otherwise it will be fine and cool but warm on the Lowveld.
Morning fog patches are forecast for Limpopo’s western Bushveld, otherwise fine and cool to warm conditions are expected.
The North West will be fine and warm.
Fine and cool to warm temperatures are expected in the Free State.
The Northern Cape will be partly cloudy along the coast, otherwise fine and cool to warm conditions are forecast.
The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate southerly to south-easterly in the morning, otherwise a light north-westerly wind is expected.
Partly cloudy conditions are expected along the west coast of the Western Cape spreading to the south coast from the afternoon.
Otherwise, fine and cool but warm temperatures are forecast over the eastern interior.

The wind along the coast will be light and variable in the morning, becoming a moderate to fresh north-westerly but westerly to south-westerly along the south coast.

The western half of the Eastern Cape will be fine and warm but cool in places in the south.
The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate northerly, becoming south-westerly in the west late in the morning, spreading east, reaching Port Alfred in the evening.
Fine and warm but cool temperatures are expected in the eastern half of the province in places in the north.
The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate north-westerly in the morning and evening, otherwise a north-easterly wind is forecast.
Fine and warm conditions are forecast for KwaZulu-Natal.
